Today, Hydrogen announces that Agilent Technologies selected the Seattle-based firm to serve as the lead advertising agency for its Electronic Measurement Group. Hydrogen will create Agilent branded print and Web advertising campaigns for customers who use the company’s test and measurement instruments.
Hydrogen specializes in bringing together teams, including strategic planners, art directors, copywriters, Web designers and account managers, to successfully collaborate with clients, continually striving to drive awareness and preference in a worldwide market. The 2009 marketing effort will include development of international campaigns for Agilent’s premier test and measurement equipment directed at engineers, technicians and corporate decision makers in wireless communications, software engineering test, aerospace/defense and manufacturing and other related industries across the globe.
“Hydrogen assembled a team with intimate knowledge of the test and measurement space, and demonstrated a creatively strong advertising development capability for a worldwide customer,” said Barbara Asbury, EMG advertising manager, Agilent Technologies. “Hydrogen’s culture fits with Agilent’s—they’re an agency without hierarchy that is enthusiastic about helping us invent new and better ways to communicate with our customers.”
“Working with a new client and category leader like Agilent is a terrific way to kick off 2009,” said Rick Peterson, president, Hydrogen Advertising. “Agilent provides us with an opportunity to demonstrate our unique ability to communicate complex concepts simply and effectively across multiple channels and cultures.”
